Aircell Gets on Board with Garmin; New Garmin/Aircell
 Products to Enhance Flight Communication and Safety

 ATLANTA, Ga., May 13 /PRNewswire/ -- In a joint press conference here today, officials of
 both AirCell, Inc. and GARMIN International announced an alliance that will see the
 development of new products that use AirCell's unique cellular air-ground link to bring
 affordable flight communications, navigation and safety to general aviation aircraft.

 The first application of the new alliance will be GARMIN's new NavTalk Pilot, which was
 introduced today at the Aircraf Electronics Association's annual convention. The NavTalk
 Pilot brings together in a single unit the mapping features, electronic HSI, VNAV indicator
 and large LCD display from GARMIN's legendary GPS III Pilot and the cellular phone
 features of its already popular NavTalk, and combines them with airborne cellular
 technology from AirCell.

 The result is a portable GPS/airborne cellular phone that can be used both on the ground
 and in the air, thus providing on-going navigation information while eliminating the need
 for customers to use two separate cell phones. Cellular phones that use AirCell's patented
 technology are the only cellular phones that are FAA-authorized for airborne use.
 The NavTalk Pilot and future GARMIN products using AirCell's technology will carry the
 mark `AirCell On Board' on its outer case and will be distributed through selected
 GARMIN dealers nationwide.
