Mobil Legal Class Actions Airborne
As the previously grounded aircraft at Archerfield and from around the country slowly crawl back into the sky after decontamination procedures and retesting on
the Mobil fuel contamination issue - two large scale legal class actions have commenced in the Courts of Law against Mobil for compensation
Slater & Gordon lodged a class action for unspecified damages in the Melbourne Supreme Court on behalf of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, and a further 80 companies operating 500
aircraft of mostly Moorabbin based aircraft owners and operators joined for a $100million class action launched by law firm Maurice Blackman Cashman in the Federal Court
