with details on an amendment to the Civil Aviation Act 1988 and now presented to the OZ Senate
for approval

The Boss of CASA, Mick Toller, mentioned to the
press a few days ago that OZ has as good as similar countries overseas ¹
This may be true for the heavy jet fleet, however it is not true of light aircraft
where the safety record is twice as bad as similar countries overseas

by the "sacrifice" of thousands of private light aircraft pilots and passengers who were "caught out" by
changing weather conditions and other low level dangers after having been forced to fly low because of the
heavy jet controlled airspace above
