A Vickers Viscount prop-jet that vanished 27 years ago in Ecuador has been located on the South American's highest mountain, Mount Chimborazo

Wreckage of the Saeta Airlines aircraft was found on the side of a volcano at 16,000 feet and 4000 feet below the summit

A Heavy in Adelaide Emergency

 February 20 
A Beech 1900, with 15 people on board, and incorrectly reported in the media as a light aircraft, made an emergency landing at Adelaide airport around 1540 hours after smoke entered the cockpit

Note:- Max take-off weight for this type of aircraft is around 7600 kgs - light aircraft max is 5670 kgs

Cessna C210P Hi-jacked

A Cessna C210P, hi-jacked from Hedlow airfield near Yeppoon in central QLD around 1600 hrs Wednesday, finished up landing in Mackay without further drama

The hi-jacker brandished a bayonet and commandeered the 6 place Cessna C210 aircraft as the owner/pilot was refuelling

Concorde in Canadian Emergency

The aircraft was enroute from Paris to New York when one of it's 4 engines failed during supersonic flight forcing the aircraft to divert to Canada for safety reasons
