In response to the proposed master plan Fly Archerfield's Emery Williams
has called on the local Griffith University Environmental Planning School to prepare a detailed scheme to "revitalise Archerfield"

The University's course convener Dr Eddo Coiacetto reports in the Southern Star newspaper
"in the 1970's more than 1000 planes operated from there (AF) but that figure is around 250 now"
