Archerfield's Proposed Master Plan Undergoing Stringent Analysis
Environment Planning University Students to Submit New Proposal

As reported in these pages in the past the proposed Master Plan for Archerfield - as presented by the airport 'owner' Archerfield Airport Corporation - is considered ineffective by most pilots and aircraft owners using or having their aircraft based at the airport

The News Desk understands there is a legal challenge under way by a group of disgruntled hangar owners over the proposed Master Plan - to view previous News Desk reports on this issue start by clicking HERE and then HERE

In response to the proposed master plan Fly Archerfield's Emery Williams has called on the local Griffith University Environmental Planning School to prepare a detailed scheme to "revitalise Archerfield"

The University's course convener Dr Eddo Coiacetto reports in the Southern Star newspaper "in the 1970's more than 1000 planes operated from there (AF) but that figure is around 250 now"
