May 9  2006
The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of Australia has finally acknowledged that general aviation "...is being destroyed at Archerfield - Moorabbin - Essendon - Bankstown - Hoxton Park - Camden - Warnervale and Cooranbong airports and intends setting up a strategy that will force the Government to stand up and take notice of the damage flowing from its airport privatisation"

AOPA Quote:- "Once a hive of activity these airports are now all but dead!"
