OZ news media continue with their inaccurate reporting of Light Aircraft accidents during the past week - one involved a "fixed-wing glider" operating out of
Lockhart airfield near Wagga Wagga in southern New South Wales that ended in a fatality
The News Desk has no data on "rotary-wing" gliders as the report suggested might be around along with it's already mentioned fixed-wing glider counterpart

The ABC also reported that a light plane's "redrive belt snapped and the propeller failed" on a Terrier 200L at Bairnsdale
near Sale in eastern Victoria
The pilot and passenger were able to walk away from the "light aircraft crash"
Bit scary for a light aircraft propeller drive system - but quite common in a number of ultralights where the horsepower rating is below 100
