Is James Andersson the Most Skillful Pilot Alive - or a Hoax?

Aerobatic and Red Bull Air Race pilot - 32-year-old Swedish born James Andersson is about to be recognised as the greatest pilot that has ever lived - James had a wing depart his highly modified 350hp Lycoming powered Giles G-300 at about 500 feet during an aerobatics display - with precision timing and superb flying skill he was able to land his machine intact minus the right wing

Most people commenting on the YouTube video of the incident did not believe that there was a pilot on board and it was just a model

It maybe a model - the video is HERE

China to ease Restrictions on Flying Private Light Aircraft

Media reports indicate that the Civil Aviation Administration of China is planning to authorise private flying in non-controlled airspace and to ease limitations on the flying of private aircraft in the next 4 or 5 years - currently all aircraft are required to apply 3 days in advance for a flight permit issued by the local bureau of civil aviation

For the flight to be authorised the pilot must have had professional training and be the holder of an appropriate license for the proposed flight - the aircraft must have a Certificate of Airworthiness issued by the CAAC and the pilot must apply in advance for the low-altitude airspace required and hand in a flight plan
