ULTRALIGHT PILOT SURVIVES JABIRU CRASH AT MYRTLEFORD IN VIC

A 65-year-old pilot of an ultralight registered Jabiru was lucky to escape with only minor injuries after crashing his aircraft on landing at Whalleys Lane private airstrip in Myrtleford Victoria

The pilot was able to extract himself from the wreck and walk to a house for help and was then taken to Northeast Health at Wangaratta for observation
"The Jabiru was extensively damaged"

PILOT SURVIVES HELICOPTER CRASH AT LEGERWOOD IN TASSIE

The 65-year-old pilot of a Hughes helicopter has survived after crashing his rotary-wing during a crop-dusting operation at Legerwood in north-eastern Tasmania

"The Hughes 269 model was extensively damaged"
There was a similar helicopter crash last week at Mission Beach in QLD
