Three persons on board a Bell Jet Ranger helicopter were seriously injured when the rotary-wing they were in crashed in unknown circumstances during a feral animal cull in the Northern Territory's Kakadu National Park '..had two national park staff members and a private contractor (pilot) on board'

OZ FAKE AGRICULTURAL PILOT FINED FOR STAYING ALIVE AFTER CRASH
A 28-year-old pilot from St George in QLD survived after (apparently) impacting an electricity wire during ag-ops in 2015 and flying 856 times without an OZ licence Lachlan Jones had passed the US commercial pilot exam (but failed the OZ one) and had worked in the USA as a licensed agricultural pilot 'He was sentenced to 6-months imprisonment, suspended for 2-years, and was given a $10,000 fine'

CESSNA 210 CRASH NORTH-EAST OF MT ISA CLAIMS TWO LIVES

Two persons on-board a Cessna 210 have died after the high-performance single they were in impacted terrain 26-km north-east of Mount Isa Airport in central QLD The men were pronounced deceased at the scene after an impact-activated distress beacon was turned on alerting authorities '..the ATSB said the light plane had been conducting a survey flight prior to the accident'

INSTRUCTOR AND STUDENT SURVIVE HELICOPTER CRASH AT MOORABBIN AIRPORT
Two men on-board a Robinson R22 have escaped serious injury after the 2-seat rotary-wing they were in rolled over during emergency training at Moorabbin airport The men - one aged 79 and the other a 59-year-old - were taken to The Alfred Hospital in a stable condition 'The instructor and trainee pilot were practising emergency landing procedures at the time'
