BROOME TOURIST HELICOPTER CRASH CLAIMS TWO LIVES - TWO SURVIVE
The pilot and one of his three passengers (11-year-old female) on-board a Robinson R44 helicopter have lost their lives after the rotary-wing they were in crashed onto a Broome street at Bilingurr shortly after take-off 'An adult and a child remain in hospital - each in a critical condition' ..It is understood to have (just) taken off from Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures’ property in Bilingurr

KIWI ROCKET FAILS TO DEPLOY SATELLITES TO ORBIT AFTER SPACE ENGINE FAILURE
The Kiwi designed and manufactured Electron rocket has failed on its latest commercial flight to deploy seven satellites but remained 'within predicted launch corridors and caused no harm to personnel or launch site', 'Following a successful lift-off first stage burn and stage separation Rocket Lab experienced an anomaly during its 13th mission', CEO Peter Beck ..The financial loss here is generally covered by insurance

AUSTRALIAN FEDERAL POLICE TO INVESTIGATE PILOT OVER CESSNA 402 CRASH IN PNG
The pilot of a Cessna C402 appears to have survived after flying from Mareeba in FNQ to PNG without lodging an international flight plan with the twin crashing during the return take-off at a newly constructed airstrip 'The Emergency Locator Transmitter activated during the crash and alerted the aviation authorities in OZ and PNG' Updated media reports believe the Cessna crashed while attempting to take off after 'collecting drugs'
