Part Copy of:- Standard contract terms 1998-99 • 1 Basis of the terms 1.1 These contract terms form part of the move to aligning charges more closely with facilities and services used. They replace charging under the Determination under section 53(1) of the Air Services Act 1995. 1.2 We agree to make the facilities and services available for use in return for your agreeing to pay the charges for them under these terms. -----oOo----- • 2 Scope and nature of charges 2.1 These terms cover: a) terminal navigation charges b) rescue and firefighting charges c) en-route charges. 2.2 The charges: a) apply to all flights of your aircraft, both domestic (within an Australian flight information region) and international (to and from an Australian flight information region) except: i) flights that you notify us are maintenance or test flights; and ii) operational missed approaches b) include a discount at specified aerodromes for circuit training. 2.3 The charges are calculated on each tonne of the maximum take-off weight as set out in the flight manual of the aircraft, with any part of a tonne charged on a pro-rata basis. -----oOo----- • 3 Terminal navigation charges 3.1 The charge for terminal navigation facilities and services when a control service is available at the time of landing is: a) for each landing or practice instrument approach at an aerodrome with a tower service. Aerospatiale AS355 helicopter weighing 3.4 tonnes, landing within the control zone of Brisbane aerodrome but not at Brisbane aerodrome itself: Charge = $4.69 x 3.4 tonnes x 50% = $7.97 c) for each touch and go, stop and go, overshoot, or go around during circuit training.
