INTRODUCTION

A Non-Commercial General Aviation Information Site

Initiated in mid-1996 as a commercial venture operating out of Archerfield Airport located in the south-east corner of Queensland - AirCentre Australia now supplies electronic based aviation information for OZ Pilots and interested parties world-wide utilising a number of themes that revolve around private light aircraft ownership including the sport and recreational flying segment

NOTE: These pages are designed and constructed using MS Notepad

The Aviation News Digest contains interesting news items from around OZ and abroad updated weekly and published under the pseudonym of the News Desk - Serious "Old Dog" Flying Safety Hints scripted specifically for the "Fly for Fun and Pleasure" pilot as well as other general aviation areas and links for any interested party researching OZ light aircraft activity

NOTE: As of 18/07/2011 Pilot Briefing links are no longer supported due security issues

Recent improvements (in 2008) include the "Mouse Over" java-script function enabling additional information to be displayed about the report or image you are viewing - moving your mouse over any text or image (without clicking) may display additional comments (if there is any) - why not try 'mousing over' this paragraph for example to see what happens!

Cookies are not issued nor supported - Exceptions are the News pages that use a 'cookie' to change text/font size and the World-Map location on the main index page needs one but feel free to browse these pages unrestricted and safe in the knowledge that your browsing activity will not be recorded by the AirCentre Server for any purpose or personal identification

AirCentre Web Pages make extensive use of the Java-Script programming language and page "pop-ups" to display additional information. Your Browser will need to have "JavaScript" enabled or activated in options/preferences section of the Browser's Internet Properties (or Preferences Advanced Category/Scripts & Plug-ins in Netscape) to allow activation of "Pop-up Windows"

A single mouse click only is required for activation
